AimsBio Inc., a bio-analytics service provider and biotechnology company, announced today the trademark of its leading high-throughput amino acid measurement service to AminoTRAK.
"By using this new trademarked name, it will be easier in the future to describe this service in more simple terms," said Dr. Colin Shepherd, AimsBio's president and chief executive officer. "The AminoTRAK name will hopefully come to represent the very idea of our amino acid screening service, and I'm confident it will be known throughout the industry for its efficiency, high-throughput capabilities, and cost savings."
The AminoTRAK technology was developed to provide high-throughput low-cost amino acid measurements to a variety of industries such as crops, food, feed, and pharma. To date, the AminoTRAK bioassay service has been used by many large and small seed and biotechnology companies to measure for specific amino acids such as lysine or methionine on a large number of samples.
